Our Parent-Teacher Organization (PTO) is an important bridge between Daegu International School and the parent community. Their support creates a meaningful impact for our DIS community!

Our PTO serves as a vital link between home and school, fostering communication, involvement, and support to enhance the educational experience for our children. Through a variety of initiatives, events, and volunteer opportunities, we aim to strengthen the bond between families and educators while making a positive impact on our school community.

What We Do:

1. Advocacy: We advocate for the needs and interests of students, parents, and teachers, collaborating with school administration to address concerns and implement positive changes.

2. Communication: We serve as a communication bridge between parents, teachers, and administrators, keeping everyone informed about important school events, initiatives, and opportunities for involvement.

3. Community Building: We organize events and activities that bring together families, teachers, and staff to build strong relationships and a sense of community within our school.

4. Fundraising: Through various fundraising initiatives, we raise funds to support school programs, activities, and resources that enrich the educational experience of our students.

5. Volunteer Opportunities: We provide opportunities for parents to get involved in volunteering, whether it's assisting on field trips, helping with events, or contributing their skills and expertise to support our school community.

Get Involved:

PTO meetings are open to all members of our parent community. We invite all parents and guardians to become active participants in our PTO. Whether you can contribute your time, talents, or resources, your involvement makes a difference in the lives of our students. Together, we can create a supportive and nurturing environment where every child can reach their full potential. Meetings are generally held once a month. Please drop in and get involved!
