Elementary students tackle games and races at annual Field Day

Elementary students took part in the annual Field Day on June 9, rotating through a variety of activities across campus. The day featured “Target Throwing”, “Sack Races,” “Single Races,” “Partner Races,” Musical Hoops,” “Four Squares,” “Face Painting,” “Hungry Hippo,” “Parachute Games” and “Sharks and Minnows.” Students tested their speed, coordination and teamwork as they moved between stations and took on new challenges throughout the day.
“The weather was great and the students were very well behaved. I think the students really got to enjoy the indoor games like parachute, hungry hippo and some tagging games.” Field Day Director Mr. Purdy said. The event brought students together for a morning of excitement and friendly competition.
